Muay Thai Gyms in Phuket With Published Training Rates
Three Chalong Muay Thai gyms publish training rates. A group session is THB 400 at Eagle and THB 500 at Phuket Chalong. A private hour is THB 700 at Eagle, THB 800 at Yak Yai and THB 1,000 at Phuket Chalong. A month at Phuket Chalong is THB 12,000.
Three Chalong gyms publish their training rates on their own websites, and the right one depends mostly on how you plan to train. If you want to try a single lesson first, start with Yak Yai’s Monday intro class at THB 300.
If you already know you want a month, Eagle is the cheaper of the two gyms that publish a month rate, at THB 9,000 for two trainings a day. Phuket Chalong costs THB 12,000, but it adds unlimited classes and on-site rooms.
Three more gyms sit outside Chalong. Phuket Muay Thai in Rawai publishes its prices, while Sinbi near Nai Harn and Bangtao Muay Thai & MMA do not, so phone them for a quote.
We recommend paying for one session before you buy any pack, because Yak Yai sells packs with a no refund, no hold, no transfer policy. Rates are as listed by each gym, checked 22 October 2026.

As listed by the gym in October 2026, a single 90-minute group class is THB 600. A day pass of two classes on the same day is THB 900, and ten classes valid for three months are THB 5,000.

For a long stay we recommend asking about its 9-month and 12-month DTV programs. The gym also has rooms, from shared dorms to ocean-view rooms, and it lends gear if you arrive without any.
Good for:
A month in the south at THB 8,000 with one class a day.
Couples or friends training together: buddy training is THB 1,700.
Skip if:
You train on Sundays: the gym is closed that day.

Muay Thai and the DTV visa
The Destination Thailand Visa is also issued for activities such as Muay Thai courses. Eagle offers a 6-month training package alongside the DTV. Funds, fee and extension are in the Thailand DTV visa guide and the DTV extension guide.
Before your first class
Gloves, shin guards, hand wraps and a mouthguard are the basic kit. You do not have to buy it before you arrive, because Yak Yai rents gear at 100 baht per class and supplies sparring gloves to everyone free of charge.
For your first class at Yak Yai, arrive 20 minutes early so check-in does not eat into the lesson. Showers are on site, with 3 stalls in both the men’s and women’s bathrooms. Yak Yai takes cash, Thai bank transfer and Wise transfer, and paying by card carries a 3.5% surcharge.
Not confirmed: Yak Yai: group class rates are not published as text; ask. Phuket Chalong: its last copyright year is 2025; confirm current rates at the desk. Whether each gym is registered with the Sports Authority of Thailand is unchecked; ask to see it.
