Phuket Expat Clubs: Which Ones State a Schedule

Rotary Patong Beach has the clearest schedule: it meets every third Tuesday at 19:00 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Patong. The buffet dinner is THB 650. Registration is compulsory, and new members join by invitation. The other clubs below publish less, so check their pages before you go.

If you want to meet other expats in Phuket, start with the clubs that publish their own details, because most ranking lists mix live groups with dead ones. This page covers three clubs with their own sites. Each section covers what the club itself publishes, checked on 24 October 2026.

Rotary Club of Patong Beach: the clearest schedule

Rotary Patong Beach is the easiest club to plan around, since it publishes a day, a time, a venue and a price. The club meets every third Tuesday at 19:00 at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Patong. The Rotary meeting itself starts at 20:00 and lasts until 21:00. The hotel is at 198/8-9 Thawewong Rd, at the north end of Patong Beach Road.

The club calls itself the only English speaking Rotary Club in Phuket, and it counts members from 18 different nations. That makes it a sensible first stop if you work in a profession and want a network that already operates in English. The home page also features a Rotary area of focus for the month of October.

Joining is not a walk-in matter. The club accepts new members by invitation, and enquiries go to its Membership Committee. If you only want to see what a meeting is like, register first, because registration is compulsory. Note that the Assembly is for Members only, so check which kind of meeting you are signing up for.

Phuket Expats Club: read the page before you pay

The Phuket Expats Club was set up to bring together the expatriate community of Phuket for business, social, pleasure and charitable purposes. Anyone with some association with Phuket can join, and visitors are invited to one of its fortnightly meetings. On paper it suits newcomers of any kind, from residents to holidaymakers.

Before you pay, though, look at what is missing. The venue is the Novotel in Patong, yet no day or time is given and future events are marked TBA.

The site’s feed carries a last-build date of October 2009, and the bank details are still marked TBC. No current date appears anywhere, so we recommend asking the club first and not sending money on the strength of the page alone.

For reference, Individual members get a reduced fee of 200 THB on entrance to fortnightly meetings. Applications go in by fax, by email or by hand at a meeting.

Phuket Hash House Harriers: an event, not a weekly schedule

The Hash group’s home page announces one thing: an outstation at Katathong Golf Resort & Spa, on 7-8-9. May 2027. More information will come end of October 2026.

No weekly run day, start point or fee appears, so this shows the group is planning ahead but not how to join a run this week. If running or a social drink is what you are after, ask the group directly.

Where Facebook and WhatsApp fit

Many top results for Phuket expat groups are Facebook groups and WhatsApp directories. We left them out because a club’s own site is the better proof that anyone still meets. If a club’s site links a group, use that link.
