Cafes in Phuket: Picks in Patong, Phuket Town, Rawai
In Patong, order a V60 at Hern Coffee and Bistro, or take a beach seat at Kan's haus, open until 1:30AM. In Phuket Town, Cafe Delight is the breakfast pick, with a flat white at THB 90, and Sixory Coffee is the quiet one. In Rawai, BOOST is where you get coffee and fast Wi-Fi.
Start with where you are sleeping, and the right cafe follows from there. Patong brings the beach and the late hours, while Phuket Town holds the Old Town breakfast rooms and the specialty coffee bars. Rawai, on the other hand, leans towards long brunch menus, and it has the one room with a kids’ corner. Every price and opening time below is as of October 2026.
Kan’s haus cafe and bistro — Patong, a beach seat until late
The front of Kan's haus in Patong.
For a seat with a view in Patong, Kan’s haus is our pick. It also stays open later than anywhere else on this list, from 9:30AM to 1:30AM daily, at 9 Thaweewong Rd. Expect resort prices, though, and look elsewhere if all you want is a cheap flat white.
Hern Coffee and Bistro — Patong, V60 on the beach road
Inside Hern Coffee and Bistro in Patong.
Come to Hern for pour-over, and order the V60. It is an open-air cafe bistro on the Patong Beach road at 66 Thaweewong Rd, open 9AM-11PM daily. That open-air layout is the catch, so anyone who wants a fully indoor room is better served elsewhere.
Early risers in Patong should head to Good cafe Patong, which opens at 8AM daily, ahead of both Kan’s haus and Hern. Plan it as a morning or afternoon stop, since it closes at 6PM. The address is 278 Phrabaramee Rd.
Cafe Delight — Phuket Town, the Old Town breakfast pick
Inside Cafe Delight in Phuket Old Town.
Cafe Delight is our Old Town breakfast pick, a family-run room at 27 Ratsada Road that opens 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. Here is what to order and what it costs.

Coffee is the bargain here, with a hot flat white the cheapest line on the table. Pour-over fans will find the V60 the priciest coffee, and oat or almond milk is available for every coffee drink.
It also works as a place to get some work done, with fast, free Wi-Fi throughout. Time your visit outside the breakfast rush, though: in the busiest breakfast hours, guests are asked to stay mindful of others who may need a table.
Two practical notes before you go. Diners who need a halal-certified kitchen should look elsewhere. Parking directly in front can be limited during busy periods.
The Neighbors Cafe — Phuket Town, breakfast and a late table
The front of The Neighbors Cafe in Phuket Town.
The Neighbors Cafe covers both ends of the day, a breakfast and brunch room open 8AM-12AM daily, so it suits a late drink as well. Wednesday is the exception, when the doors close at 5PM. Find it at 93 Phangnga Rd.
The front of Double Brew Coffee Roaster in Phuket Town.
Come to Double Brew for Thai coffee: the beans are its own roast, with a focus on Thai coffee, and bags are for sale to take home. Leave room for the homemade chocolate, the second reason to stop. Weekend visitors get an extra hour, with 8AM-7PM Sat-Sun against 8AM-6PM Mon-Fri, at 15 Soi Rommani.
For a calm hour with a good pour-over, head to Sixory and order the V60. It is an “introvert specialty coffee” shop, and the room is quiet and calm to match.
It is also the earliest opener on this list at 7AM, at 66 Yaowarad Rd. Weekdays end early, 7AM-4:30PM Mon-Fri, while Sat-Sun runs 7AM-7:30PM.
Go to BOOST for the coffee, which is the main reason to visit. Bring a laptop too: the Wi-Fi is fast, and since 2019 the cafe has served all-day breakfast, healthy brunch and specialty coffee. Doors open daily 8am to 6pm at 39/38 Moo 1.
Join the Rawai regulars at Creme, which is where they eat breakfast. Breakfast and brunch are freshly made and served all day, and the coffee is brewed from Chiang Rai beans. Arrive between 7:30 am and 5 pm, the daily hours.
With children in tow, Leikki is the Rawai pick, thanks to a play area with toys and books. It is an “All Day Breakfast & Lunch Cafe”, set in Fisherman Way Business Garden and open 8AM-6:30PM daily.
For a full workday rather than a coffee, our guide to coworking spaces in Phuket is the better fit. This list sticks to Patong, Phuket Town and Rawai, and cafes elsewhere are not covered. Each cafe was picked by area from Google Maps, then checked against its own pages and listings on 22 October 2026.
Not confirmed: Wi-Fi outside Cafe Delight and BOOST: ask at the counter before you open a laptop. Hours: check on the day for a long trip, especially Wednesday at The Neighbors Cafe.
